Networking - Is it Real or Fake?
The answer is that it is both. Although there is a lot more fake than real.
My test is:
that someone you have ‘connected with’ (i.e a FB friend, an @ follower etc.) would do something if you asked them to.
Therefore, this is about quality not quantity. 5000 FB friends does not a great networker make if you haven’t really connected with them.
Networking is about connecting - not collecting. Check yourself, what are you doing?
